Flowers For Algernon, based off the classic book by Daniel Keyes, tells the tale of Charlie Gordon, a man with a very low IQ who is chosen to receive a revolutionary new surgery. This operation has shown to dramatically increase intelligence in mice. Charlie's journey parallels that of Algernon, a mouse who's intelligence has grown four-fold. As Charlie reaches the peak of his intelligence, Algernon shows terrifying signs of regression.
